Excellent Breakfast and Location
central location delicious breakfast
I appreciated the central location, a short walk to bowness pier. easy parking was available near the hotel. rob and tanya were fabulous hosts, very attentive to detail and they made sure i had everything i needed. breakfast was delicious. It really set me up for the day.
the pillow was not really comfortable. i had some trouble sleeping well because of it. perhaps different pillows could solve this problem .

the guest house offers convenient parking just opposite the hotel. the location is quiet and very easy for walking to all facilities in the town. public transport links are accessible for exploring all parts of the lakes.

rob cooked a fresh and tasty english breakfast each morning. it included a selection of bacon, egg, sausages, and hash browns. rob and tanya gave helpful recommendations of walks, restaurants, and activities.

Fantastic Stay! Superb Breakfast!
cute hosts comfortable bed smashing breakfast
The hosts were so cute! My room was very clean. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Breakfast each morning started the day off perfectly!
Parking was a little tricky though I managed to find a spot eventually!

The breakfast offered a great variety of options. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The full English breakfast included locally sourced ingredients and was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the quality of the food.

The location is excellent. It is just a short walk to the train station and village center. Many shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. This central spot made exploring the area convenient.

The hosts offered really good service, and they were always available to help! They offered great advice about local attractions. Their warm hospitality, which I will cherish.

cash payment kitchen access
the location was near bus stops , very convenient for getting around.
the breakfast was included , but i had to pay with cash , something i wasn't aware of when i booked. also , although the room had coffee and tea , i wasn't allowed to use the kitchen to get water for the kettle , i was told to use bathroom water instead.

weak shower pressure uncomfortable pillows
the breakfast WAS cheap and nice. it filled me up for the morning.
the room i got was too SMALL. pillows felt cheap, and my neck suffered. the shower pressure was weak, a real disappointment after a long day of hiking.
